So I’m in the need for an 11’ Raft a few days ago – isn’t everyone? So I bid on this large raft and I won the bid. The second I get an official eBay message saying you have won and now please pay – I also got the following email: (look at picture below on how real it was including the items photo! It wasn’t pixilated until I converted it)
I’m the seller of the item that you’ve recently bided through the eBay system. Item name: SportsStuff FunStation Inflatable Private Island, Item number: (320264393411) I`ve just been contacted by the eBay staff who informed me that due to some reasons my paypal account is limited and I can’t accept paypal payments, please reply me asap at alexnrthbrnswck@aol.com so we can close this deal without paypal, sorry for this confusion.
Thank you!
After a little research I noticed we have two emails here – one from the legitimate seller and one from the email address above – which is a scam. It looked very official and took a second to tell it was fake. Watch out on eBay – it’s full of scammers. I’ve had other things happen to me on eBay… how about you?
